One of the most anticipated ship launches in 2023 is the Norwegian Viva, the next stunning ship in the brand-new Prima Class, designed for you to live life to the fullest. The new ship has a capacity of 142,500 GT and can accommodate 3219 passengers on double occupancy who will be treated to the most outdoor deck space on sea so that you can get up close and personal with the ocean. This includes a 44,000ft² outdoor walkway, Ocean walk, concourse, pool decks and infinity style pools.
The dining venues onboard Norwegian Viva includes both indoor and outdoor lounges and dining spaces. The Indulge Food Hall will feature 11 varieties of eateries in the form of artisanal mini-restaurants and food trucks. The speciality dining venues onboard the cruise ship will include Palomar, Hasuki, Onda by Scarpetta, and Le Bistro.
Highlight areas onboard include The Vibe Beach Club, an adults-only private retreat on the ship, which will feature a full-service bar and infinity hot tubs, The Galaxy Pavilion that offers an immersive high-tech virtual wonderland experience, with offerings such as a flying theatre simulator, escape rooms, and racing simulators. Kids will be able to indulge in creative play and sports at the Splash Academy on the ship. Deck eight will feature a 44,000ft² outdoor walkway called Ocean Boulevard, which will allow guests to walk around the ship on an Ocean walk glass bridge.
Norwegian Viva will embark on its maiden voyage to the Mediterranean at the beginning of July 2023. It will homeport in four European cities - Rome, Venice, Athens and Lisbon offering eight, nine, and ten-day voyages. In December, NCL Viva will offer seven-day Caribbean voyages from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
