Resorts World Cruises launched on June 15, 2022, as part of the globally recognized Resorts World brand—an enterprise operating 46 resorts across four continents, serving over 80 million guests annually. It emerged following the collapse of Genting Hong Kong, which previously ran the Dream and Star Cruises brands. Resorts World Cruises was conceived to carry on the legacy of Asian maritime travel, with a focus on personalized, culturally rich voyage experiences.
Today, Resorts World Cruises operates a fleet of three ships—Genting Dream, Star Navigator, and Star Voyager. Genting Dream, the line’s flagship, offers a premium cruising experience with its exclusive enclave, The Palace, which features private suites, personalized butler service, a dedicated restaurant, and other luxury amenities. Star Navigator (formerly Resorts World One) and Star Voyager cater to a broader market, offering a range of stateroom categories from interior cabins to suites, while maintaining the brand’s signature Asian hospitality and entertainment offerings. The cruise line provides a variety of itineraries across Asia, including sailings from Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. In a significant brand update, Resorts World Cruises revived the iconic Star Cruises and Dream Cruises names in February 2025. Genting Dream now sails under the Dream Cruises brand, positioned as a premium offering, while Star Navigator and Star Voyager operate under the Star Cruises banner, catering to mid-market travelers with shorter, port-intensive sailings.
Resorts World Cruises continues to grow across the Asia-Pacific, with expansion plans that highlight its commitment to blending cultural authenticity, culinary diversity, and exceptional service in the world of contemporary cruising.
