Premium Cruises

Premium Cruises

Those who appreciate a first class travel experience will undoubtedly enjoy sailing aboard a premium cruise line. Spacious surroundings, art collections, more personal refined service, extra stateroom amenities, onboard enrichment programs and gourmet style cuisine are just a few examples that demonstrate their exceptional quality.

These cruise lines are also recognized for the distinguished destinations they sail to, satisfying experienced passenger's appetite for exploration. Offering unique itineraries with a mixture of ports and activities, the premium lines understand what a sophisticated traveler desires. Ship size ranges from mid-sized (500-900 guests) to large ships over 1500 guests.

Premium cruise lines feature similar shipboard amenities to contemporary lines (spas, health clubs, pools, multiple dining options and restaurants, intimate lounges, incredible entertainment, children's programs, casinos and more), but they offer a premium experience featuring more sophisticated dining experiences, amenities and service.

Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages is the new kid on the block in the cruise market and aims to break the stereotype that exist in the world of premium cruising. They aim to infuse a fun and contemporary vibe on board, aimed at Instagram-snapping millennials. Their 3 adult-only ships have a feel of a sleek, luxurious yacht and like a few premium cruises, they are all-inclusive too. To keep up their image of being hip and humorous, their suites are named Massive, Fab, Posh & Gorgeous. Their onboard entertainment is run by an Events & Gigs team which creates original productions in a multi-form theatre. What’s also changed from conventional cruises is that they have done away with long buffets queues and instead have Korean BBQ, Mediterranean Mezze, Pizza shops and more. Their game is to provide what they call RockStar service to their guests who are referred to as "sailors”. There is no dress code on Virgin Voyages ships, but expect lots of chic and modern style dressing onboard.
