MSC Cruises new luxury cruise line, Explora Journeys has commenced sailings in August 2023 with the first of its six luxury ships, Explora 1. The ethos of Explora Journeys is to transform luxury cruises into ocean journeys which inspire you to travel further, immerse deeper and linger a little longer. Inspired by the company’s European heritage, Explora Journeys will provide guests with an immersive ocean experience and respectful and intuitive hospitality. The two Explora ships (I and II) offer a choice of 461 oceanfront suites and residences with floor to ceiling windows and a personal private terrace. The luxury ships offer a choice of 11 distinct culinary experiences, across six vibrant restaurants plus in-suite dining, 12 bars and lounges, 4 swimming pools, extensive outdoor decks with 64 private cabanas, wellness facilities and refined entertainment.
Over the coming weeks and months, Explora Journeys will be introducing more than 700 new destination experiences for their Mediterranean journeys. The collection of journeys aboard EXPLORA I or EXPLORA II start from 7 nights with the flexibility to extend to 14- to 21-night or longer explorations
