Seabourn

Seabourn
  • Introduction
  • Ships

The Yachts of Seabourn provides ultra-luxury cruises on small, yacht-like ships to the most desirable destinations in the world. Their ultra luxury ships feel like private yachts; or, more aptly, private clubs. All cabins are suites and are well-equipped with designer soaps, a complimentary bottle of champagne, and a bathtub. Luxurious and intimate, the Yachts of Seabourn aim to pamper their guests in every way. Their aim is that each guest should not lift a finger, unless it is to signal a waiter! Seabourn’s Signature Delights are the little things that make a cruising experience that much more special. Sailing aboard one of Seabourn's yachts is an adventure in elegance and sophistication, with the highest levels of service.

Fellow passengers - While many passengers are likely to be American, international passengers also cruise with Seabourn. They are generally older, wealthy and well-traveled. Conversation often includes past and future trips, since almost half of Seabourn’s passengers are repeaters.

Seabourn - Destinations

The Yachts of Seabourn take their guests to some of the most fascinating parts of the world. On each cruise, at one port of call, Seabourn offers a free shore excursion to which all passengers are invited. Such events often are a highlight of the cruise; examples include an outdoor folk dance in Greece or a ride in a glass-roofed boat along a canal in Amsterdam.

Mediterranean: From great cities of the antiquities to tiny harbors rarely called upon by visitors, from Portugal and Spain to France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey and Egypt, explore lost civilizations and colorful cultures along the shores of this pristine sea.

Northern Europe: From St. Petersburg in the Baltic to the British Isles, France and Spain beyond, you’ll follow in the footsteps of the early explorers who were called to the sea centuries ago. Explore the endless fjords under Norway’s Midnight Sun. Savor the café society of Paris. Join in song in an Irish pub. Or enjoy a Marzariner in the streets of Stockholm. Here, the old and new blend seamlessly to create an experience that is timeless.

Asia, India & Arabia: Experience the authentic Far East  while you shop for bargains in the markets of Hong Kong and Singapore. Visit the Forbidden City or tackle the Great Wall of China. Glide along the picturesque canals of the Mekong River. Sip fragrant teas in a Victorian hotel, then travel by rickshaw through the streets of Penang.

South & Central America: Answer the call of the wild as the wonders of ancient civilizations bordered by lush rainforests greet you at every turn. For the adventurous, few places can rival South America.
Caribbean: Experience the Caribbean as few travelers ever do. Discover the little known hideaways of Cruz Bay, Prickly Pear Island, Tobago and Mayreau – jewel-like settings that insiders love. Soar over Montserrat’s active volcano in a helicopter. Shop for French chic in St. Bart’s boutiques. Snorkel the unspoiled reefs off a deserted island near St. John. Or lounge on the empty beaches of Martinique.

Seabourn Sojourn

The second of Seabourn’s new class of ships, Seabourn Sojourn, like her sisters, Seabourn Sojourn enchants her guests with an array of public areas scaled to encourage a relaxed sociability. One of the most unusual features of Seabourn Sojourn and her sisters is Seabourn Square, an ingenious “living room” that replaces the traditional cruise ship lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with easy chairs, sofas and cocktail tables.
